It's hard to describe yourself when there's no main prompt or some kind of icebreaker system. Especially when theres no singular english word to truly describe you. I guess "unique" is accurate? That kind of applies to everyone, though.

My Identity
Anyways, Hi! I'm Velvet, or Roar, if that's less confusing. I am a black queer artist based in the USA (unfortunately.) I am a Sagittarius and my Myers-Briggs is INFP. I'm vaguely spiritual and have a huge interest in psychology and human nature.
I am demisexual, which is a type of asexuality. It basically means I don't usually think people are sexy. Lately, I've also been indentifying as "agender," though I'm femme-presenting. I do feel attached to the experience of "womanhood," but mostly by proxy, if that makes sense.
I am neurodivergent (if that wasn't obvious already) but I don't know what exactly I have, and I'll be damned if I have to pay thousands of dollars that I DON'T HAVE to figure it out. I've been called a "Highly Sensitive Person" by therapists, if that means anything?

My Art
I've been drawing for about a decade now, and have always used art and characters as a way to express and understand myself when words failed to do the trick.
If you're coming from my socials, you know I make primarily NSFW content. I also use this art for personal expression and understanding, as I've been repressing myself for a long time (and still am a little.) I hope you like the stuff I make on this journey!!

My History
I don't want to say I was 'raised by the internet,' but the internet definitely had a hand in my development, as I've been an active part of this hellhole since I was 11.
...Anyone else remember Google+?
Fandoms were my safe space for a long time, until I eventually got comfortable creating my own characters and focus my creative efforts on them. I still have a lot of love and appreciation for fandoms, but I prefer to lurk nowadays.

I have a lot of favorite characters and interests, and you can look at the stamps to the left for more information on those.
I also really like learning, so here's some stuff that's piqued my interest lately: Crocheting, Criminal Psychology, Web Design, Geneology, Gender Studies

People change, and I am no exception!
